From practicing yoga, the obstacles dwindle and the light of wisdom dawns, leading to clear discernment.

Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, 2.28

yoga = yoga
anga = limbs
anusthanad = from practicing
asuddhi = impurities
ksaye = dwindling
jnana = wisdom
diptih = light
a = culminating in
viveka = discernment
khyateh = clarity

This illustration was partly inspired by the story of Narcissus, feeling that if we could see ourselves as we really are (though with the wisdom that we are looking in a clear mirror) we might be a bit awestruck! 🌸
