
Here’s my mum’s vegan hummus recipe – she showed me how to make it while we were in the UK this Summer.
INGREDIENTS
Cooked chickpeas (cooked with salted water) 300g
6 small cloves garlic, sliced
Juice of one lemon
1 tsp of cumin
4 tbsp tahini
4 tbsp olive oil
METHOD
Add a little of the chickpea water to the chickpeas, garlic and turmeric and blend. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust flavours if needed.
Enjoy as a dip or spread and can also be frozen 🙂
