When I used to do martial arts, we would often repeat techniques many times. As well as building muscle and remembering the moves, it also helped us find the most effortless and efficient way, as we couldn’t rely on muscle strength once they were exhausted.
A kind of effortlessness could produce the most effective technique, like a tuning fork resonating.
In a similar way with yoga, through repetition and focusing on what feels good for your breath and body, rather than trying to force things, it can feel effortless (or at least easier!) and joyful.
