अविद्यास्मितारागद्वेषाभिनिवेशाः क्लेशाः

avidya asmita raga dvesa abhinivesah klesah

The obstacles are blindness to absolute truth, egoism, attachment, aversion and fear of death.

avidya = blindness to absolute truth
asmita = egoism
raga = attachment
dvesa = aversion
abhinivesah = fear of death
klesah = obstacles

Rather than presenting these things as ‘bad’, I drew them as seed shells that are there to protect us and help us navigate through life until we are ready to grow out of them.
