Standing forward bends

Standing forward bends help me feel safe because I feel supported by gravity stretching my back and I can’t see all the housework and things around me that need to be done! What shape / practice helps you feel safe?

I used to think that to practice yoga you had to have a body that could support itself. What beliefs did you have about who can practice yoga?
Recently been enjoying tracing photos and coloring in on top of them using layers in Adobe Photoshop Sketch app.

During the Summer of 2019, I was sitting in @hanushkacoffeehouse on George St in Hastings with Dan (we call it the “book cafe” and they do amazing lattes and paninis and have shelves of books you can read) and was looking through one of their books with a page about Batemans (Jacobean house owned by Rudyard Kipling) and noticed this quote and liked it so much wrote it down on something I had to hand –
