desa bandhascittasya dharana

Dharana is binding the mind to one thing

Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, 3.1

desa = place
bandha = binding
cittasya = of the mind
dharana = concentration

As well choosing to focus on doing something specific we can also choose to focus on not having our attention on anything in particular and see what comes up. So today I just drew a bird 🙂
