1.44 There is also reflective and non-reflective illumination for subtle objects of sense perception

एतयैव सविचारा निर्विचारा च सूक्ष्मविषया व्याख्याता

etayaiva savicara nirvicara ca suksma visaya vyakhyata

There is also reflective and non-reflective illumination for subtle objects of sense perception

Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, 1.44

etayaiva = in the same way
savicara = reflective illumination
nirvicara = non-reflective illumination
ca = too
suksma = subtle
visaya = objects (of sense perception)
vyakhyata = explained

So I think Patanjali seems to be saying there are two kinds of illumination for the material world and also for the more subtle world(s); A dual (doing) kind where there is subject and object (you and others) and a non-dual (being) kind where everything is one.

I tried to draw the people and plants in the picture as resting in the various kinds of illumination.
